Hi There! Welcome to my Disclosure page!
I’ve you’ve been having a good old look around the site, you may have noticed my general Affiliate Disclosure that appears in the side bar of every page and post and which goes a little something like this:
“MakeTimeToSeeTheWorld contains affiliate links throughout the site. If you choose to purchase items or services through these links, I will earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These commissions help reduce the costs of running this site. So Thank You in advance for any clicks through!”
I am also part of the Amazon Affiliate program which requires the following specific disclosure:
“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”
So, What is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link allows me to earn a commission from a purchase that is referred to the company through MakeTimeToSeeTheWorld. This happens at no cost to you. The price is not bumped up to pay the commission – you get the best deal, and the payment to MakeTimeToSeeTheWorld is calculated on top of your purchase and charged to the company. This is how I make (a little bit of) money which goes to cover the costs of running this website.
So does this mean I promote anything and everything? No, it does not. I only promote companies and services that I love and use myself (and these can all be found on the Things I Love (Resources) Page). Again, there is no additional costs for you to buy or book something through an affiliate link, but you help me out a lot and I really really appreciate it when you do.
